Soft washing · Smith Mountain Lake & Roanoke
House washing without the pressure.
Mildew and algae love lake air and shady lots. Soft washing is low-pressure house washing for siding, roofs and trim. It removes the green and black streaks without blasting the surface the way a pressure washer can.

Common questions
Soft washing, plainly.
What’s the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses high pressure and is for hard surfaces like concrete and docks. Soft washing is low-pressure and is for siding, roofs and trim, where high pressure can do damage. I do both, and I use the right one for each surface.
Is it safe for my siding and roof?
That’s the point of it. Soft washing is low-pressure, so it removes mildew and algae without damaging the surface.
How often does a house need it?
For most homes around the lake, once a year is typical. That’s why the annual wash is built into the Quarterly Estate plan.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size of the house, the number of stories and how much growth there is. Text me a few photos or I’ll come look, and you get a price in writing before anything starts.
